Re: New member - new project
They look like 28 29 sedan fenders to me Neil. you can see the apron on the one to the right. Wonder what that door was off of. There also appears to be a rusty 28 29 front bumper back there as well.

Re: New member - new project
A lot of them were cut off like that for the dump body to work properly. Any remnants of a dump mechanism left??? Could have been a manual one and not hydraulic so all the dump hardware would have gone with the dump box. Would need closer pics of that box but it does resemble the early V8 pick up bo...

Re: 31 aa wheels
Anywhere from $50.00 to $100.00 per wheel with good split rings. $50.00 for average $100.00 per excellent.

Re: Wanted, metal floor plate that seals steering and pedals
Like Neil said....that plate you are describing is the same for the car and the AA. The cabs, fenders, etc.were all interchangeable with the passenger series car / pickup.

Re: Help identifying fenders
Your pics are not helping. They appear to be a highly modified A fender for a trailer or what ever but I can't tell from your pics. People were pretty creative back in the day so you just don't know what they did.

Re: Is it worth something
Looks like a decent 30 Cab. All sheetmetal will work with the passenger series car. Don't scrap that stake platform. A lot of us are looking for parts from them. The chassis are AA only except for the front ends. They are the same as the passenger car for the most part.

Re: power house generator
No powerhouse generators after P2 had adjusting arms, and no long style generators had adjusting arms. If the side bracket for the adjusting arm is missing from your P2 you will have a hard time finding another one. If you do then you will need to find the arm and the special stud for the other end...

Re: power house generator
You guys need to read the "Model A Judging Standards & Restoration Guidelines". Then you would understand all the details on all the generators including the several different powerhouse generators. Only the very early powerhouse generators had a bracket to keep the belt tight, then H...

Re: power house generator
Yes that is the bracket I am looking for. The top bracket. I saw one once at a flea market but you had to buy the whole generator to get it. In retrospect I should have bought it but today is today.
