Re: seat springs for sale

I sent you a PM about these springs at least two weeks ago when you first listed them. Same offer as above. I hope my offer is considered first as I believe I was the first to respond. PM me back or email. My email is in my profile.

Re: Front axle assembly

Mine has a stud coming off of the housing instead of a bolt screwing into it. I'll have to see if the threaded stud will unscrew from the housing. Thank you, I'll check that out. There should be a nut on that stud. If there's not you are halfway there. If you tap on it it will release depending on ...

Re: Front axle assembly

There is really nothing holding it on. One you remove the bolt holding it to the perch it will pretty much fall out of the backing plate.

Re: Front axle assembly

You do not have to remove the wishbone. That stays intact to the front axle. You need to remove all brake linkages, brake backing plates to expose the spindle. Once exposed you will see that you need to remove the king pin hold down bolts and then the king pins themselves to get the spindle off of t...

Re: AA Engine Serial #

They are getting hard to come by but I wouldn't call them rare. If that serial number matches your frame you have what is called a "numbers matching" truck. Adds some value to it of course. The key is, is that engine a useable core....meaning it's not cracked. Cracked blocks can be repaired dependin...

Re: new guy

Like others have said you have a 28 29 running gear for the most part (worm drive rear axle for sure and frame are) cab is 30 31 and the motor is from a passenger car. That carb is late late 31 and they can go for $300.00 to $350.00. Pretty neat truck. Get it going and have fun with it. Use it aroun...

Re: Seat springs

You might want to check with Snyders....I believe he broke into the Model A business selling his seat springs. I know he sells a lowered one for roadsters and I think he will custom make springs for you.
