Re: 1928 Model AA

I find it interesting that the editing was only done on one side of the issue. Preferential?

Re: 28 AA stake side for sale

Great lookin' truck, no? Thanks for the daily pix fix Alan. Best, russ My pleasure Russ. The only thing about the bed is the fact that the floor boards are butted up against each other and when the wood begins to move it's going to pooch up the seams. Not good. I guess if one kept it in a temp/humi...

Re: Who farmer welded my spring perches??

OK, I'll have to keep my eyes open when we go to that farm supply place out there. I know that it changed hands but don't know if it changed names. The war dept. usually likes to poke around in the nursery. Although that may have ceased as she was pretty disappointed in it the last time around.

Re: Who farmer welded my spring perches??

What are you using this for, a donkey? Are you snaking logs out of canyons or?? Looking at this it reminds me of a friends dad's saw mill that he put together from old saw mill rem's that were left behind. The old timers never took anything out of the woods when they left. Just left everything where...

Re: FRAMES 'A MODELS AND AA MODELS'

The shrink tubing I was referring to was the type you would commonly be thought of for electrical wiring. It's made in much larger sizes (and for what??) and will encase the spring on each side. I'll see if I can find my publication that illustrates it and post it. The "liners" that I was ...

Re: Barn Find AA in IL: Pics!

Well it's tough to tell with both of the fenders in such a large shadow. Try using a flash in the daytime as it will remove all/most of a shadow which would enable one to i.d. the subject.
