Re: Need some more torque for your AA??
According to the article: "Aluminum engines are lighter than cast iron engines. However, "light" is relative. An aluminum 1,100 cubic inch engine is not going to be as light as an aluminum small block Chevy 350. In this instance, "light weight" is listed in the GAA overhaul...

Aluminum block and heads???? Remember this was a V12 originally for aircraft so "light" was the operative. It would be interesting to get the spec's on it.

Re: New project or parts?
It was common for the rear fenders to be discarded due to the fact that they "got in the way". As the fender spacers are still with this truck it would indicate that the fenders most likely were cut to get them out of the way unless inspection shows that they rotted off. Unlikely. Also, fe...

Re: Dual Wheel - Tire side wall clearance
I had a discussion with the two brothers who own the tire shop that I frequent about this issue. They both advised that any dual wheel set up, antique or current years be outfitted with the recommended tire size that came with the wheels. They pointed out that oversized tires will generate a lot of ...

Re: 1929 AA Creitors Popcorn Truck owned by John Force Racin
Force originally purchased this vehicle from a fellow in KS as his shop at the time wasn't near any restaurants or other food sources and he didn't want his clients/retail customers to have to leave while there shopping for his products. At one time he placed the vehicle up for sale, but took it off...

Re: Not an AA Platform!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't believe everything sellers say on Ebay :( . Item 260973144399 is advertised as for a '28 - '31 but it is not for an AA. I think that the Ford script started in '33 or '34. The sills on the Ebay platform are going to be parallel and to wide at the front for a fit on the AA chassis frame. Someo...
