1931 Dump Truck

I have a 1931 original condition dump truck listed on craigslist Seattle . I am not tech savvy and have had a group member post my add here before. I'd appreciate if this could be done once more ?

Thanks

Re: 1931 Rear Hub Problem

Thanks everyone for all the great tips. Today I put heat to it and what ever was stuck broke free with out taking the hub off. I'll go with that for now but if it acts up again I of course might need to remove the hub in the future.

Re: 1931 Rear Hub Problem

Thanks Chris , I found one today. I have a friend that had some wood spoke wheels restored by a local guy here and I went with him today to pick them up. As my friend was paying the bill , I looked over at a table full of at leased a dozen styles of hub pullers .... and found the correct style that ...

1931 Rear Hub Problem

I bought a 31 AA last fall that had been sitting in dry storage for many years. It rolled fine on and off the trailer and into my carport. I did some tire work recently on the rear end and noticed now the drivers side hub only rotates about an inch each way (with drag) before stopping with a clunk n...

Re: Tires and rims fro 30 AA

I have plenty of rims , would you consider selling just the tires ? I live near Seattle and would be interested in all of them. I asume they are 600/650 - 20's ?

Re: 1931 Ford Truck AA 131 inch delivery, open cab, Kingston

Hi Paul , I just realized you were the author here ! I'll tell you that with a stuck motor it was going to be yard art. When it moved with the crank handle ... the mechanic in me decided to see if it would run. I spent all day working on it today. I changed the oil , took the side cover off to free ...

Mallory Distributor

I just bought a 1931 AA with a Mallory Distributor , it hasn't ran in years. There's no hook up lever to attach the spark advance/retard arm to the distributor , no vaccum advance either. Is anyone familar with this set up ? Does it have mechanical advance built inside ? It looks in good condition.

It idles fine. I'll try adjusting the float. Thanks !

Re: 1931 Dump

There appears to a tank on the before pic just above the drivers side rear spring that I don't see in the now pic. what was that used for??? I would love to have your truck. So many uses I would have for it around my little acre and a half. Great gravel and mulch hauler. Cow Poop too! :P It was an ...
