Re: Front brake baffle

Shorthaul,

You would be looking at the open side if you were to pull the drum off. That side would go against the backing plate.

Re: spring shackle

Aaron,

The front spring shackle for a '34 BB is the same as 30-31 AA.

Re: '32 Long wheelbase cab and chassis

Here are some photos of the truck. If you are looking for anything in particular, let me know and I will get them. The tires currently on the truck are rollers. The truck will come with wheels(rims) only.

'32 Long wheelbase cab and chassis- SOLD

I have a long wheelbase '32 cab and chassis for sale. It's just seen the light after 50+ years in the shed. It has the 4 cylinder engine (which turns over) 4 speed trnasmission and I'm assuming it has the standard (low speed) rear axle. It does not have a bed, and the '34 cab on the back is not curr...

AA with banjo style rear axle

I happened to be parusing Craigslist and found this. It's not mine and I don't know who is selling it. I think it's a high price considering the condition, but thought it's cool with the rear axle.

Re: E-Z Steer

Rusty,

Thank you. That's what I was thinking also. I figure that it's easier to replace the teflon than it is the balls.

E-Z Steer

Does anyone have long term experience with the teflon E-Z steer kit? I have a '34 BB and I'm looking at rebuilding the steering system. I was wondering what everyone thinks about the teflon kit. Thank you all for your input.

Re: Reballing steering arms

I called Tams yesterday, it sounds like his guy can do them. I need to head to my parents house to find some better candidates for rebuild because the ones I set aside years ago are too worn on the shaft. I also called Schwalms today. They are also a no-go. Of two of the places I talked to, they sug...

Re: Reballing steering arms

If any of you guys are wondering, Snyder's no longer reballs the big truck arms, Berts does not currently do the big trucks as the guy they use is a few months behind, and Brattons does not offer the service either. I may call Tams to see what he says. Any other ideas?

Reballing steering arms

Does anyone know who can install new balls on steering arms for a '34 BB? From what I can tell, the arms are the same as AA, except for the pitman arm. It looks like Snyders has the double arm for an exchange, but the single arm is out of stock. I have yet to talk to Snyders to see what they say. I ...
