Re: Interior pannels

The best cardboard to use, as a backer for the vinal, is Thermo Ply by Tyco. I haven't bought any for a few years so don't know if it is still made. It didn't warp after a few years like most other upholstery cardboards. The 1/8" plywood was OK but alot of extra work to seal up so that it also ...

Re: Tow truck is com ring together but I need help

It is not for sale at this time, but here are more old pictures, 2 of which show it after the Ford garage worked on it (but didn't finish it) in the late 60's and then it was put in a barn until I bought it about 5 years ago

Re: Tow truck is com ring together but I need help

This is a picture of my tow truck that was taken back in the 60's after 25+ years of work and it shows the location in relation to the rear wheels, and the frame is not cut.

OHTM auction Sat. 25th

There are a couple of nice AA's at the OHTM auction this Sat. (25th). The stake body 29 is all original with no rust through, original seat w/upholstery and 44500 miles. The early 30 soft top dump has had work done years ago but is still in good shape and it runs and drives good. I believe these tru...

Re: Interesting AA on Ebay

I think they should have an opening bid price of $7500 - but if they didn't do most of the work themselves and just hired the local body shop to "fix" it up you could understand how they could come up with the delusional price that they have set. O'well there is 1 person in the world that ...

Interesting AA on Ebay

There is a "1930 Ford Model A Model AA" in Barrington RI. that is different and not too common. I think that it was one of the rolling chassis/fenders/running boards/cowls rigs that Ford sold to after market companies. I don't have my reference book in front of me so can't come up with a c...

Re: Need ideas on antique truck insurance & truck covers...

Condon & Skelly in Md., they are listed in that list at the top of the Model A section of the Fordbarn. I pay approx. $60 a year. It has to be original and there is a mileage limit I think.

Those rims fit on 1928 AA hubs which are different than the A that you are asking about.

Re: 1930 AA with turntable side dump - pictures added

Anything that is unique has more value, and that type of dump fits in that category. as far as the bed goes, old ones of different sizes are available and new ones can be made. The pictures are fuzzy but the cab and fenders look pretty good. If you are selling this truck, you should not give it away...
