Re: Headlight Question

It's one or the other. Not both at once.

Need AA jack handle

I am looking to buy a AA-17082 design 2 jack handle (May 30 to end of production).

Does anyone have a spare handle to sell?

Thanks,

Re: hi everyone !!!

You are right about the battery. It is just the same as the "A"s, under the floorboard.

I should have said Ford supplied, not Ford made.

Re: Schematis for long wheel base Stake bed

I recently rebuilt my 1931, 157" wheel base bed (Ford made) replacing all the wood. The AA newsletters I got from Neil Wilson showed me exactly what I needed as far as dimensions and the grooves that were needed in the wood. I followed them and the job turned out great. I don't remember which m...

Call Steve Becker at Bert's Model A in Denver 1-800-321-1931. He has a good supply of AA wheels and rims.

Re: wood covers

Hi Pat,

I used Douglas fur. Had the thickness milled the and edges routed to the exact dimensions shown in the Double AA'er. By doing this, everything fit just right.

I have since added racks all the way around. Looks great.

Re: Messurement

Vic,

My truck is also a 1931 157" WB with the 185B platform bed and the 82B closed cab.

The distance from the center of the back of the cab to the center of the front of the bed is exactly 2 inches.

I hope that is what you are looking for.

Try Steve Becker at Bert's Model A in Denver. I would be surprised if he doesn't have some. (303) 293-3673

Re: winsheild gaskets

The two photos below show my installation of the windshield upper hinge. The 1st shows the rubber gasket above the hinge, the wiper hose and the welting that goes under the sunvisor (not yet installed). The second is a close up. The 45 degree ends on the rubber gasket for the windshield should not b...

I can't seem to get the pictures small enough to post. If you send me your email I will send you a couple of pictures that may help.
