Re: driveshaft, wormshaft splines
I also have the same issue with a set that I want to swap out in my '29. Is there a drawing for this, or can someone recommend a business/person that knows how to repair a badly worn spline?

Re: Affordable tires for a '30 AA Stakebed
Are there any swap meets in your area? My truck uses only 4 tires ('29 non-dually), and I picked up a set of four for under $200 at a swap meet a couple years ago.

I'd like a copy as well if you have the time. Could the file be posted on the AA-fords website? Thanks, Dave

Re: GarWood Dump box
So I was just informed that the box is a Model C4, and not an F4C like I originally thought. Is the Model C4 one that would have been available on a '29 AA? Thanks again,

Re: GarWood Dump box
That exactly what I was looking for. I wasn't sure if the F4C could have been installed on the '29 AA. I am not interested in hacking together a frankentruck, if I do anything to the truck, I will only change it to something that was available at the time.
Thanks again for all the replies.

GarWood Dump box
There is a GarWood dump box that I am interested in buying locally, but not sure if it will fit on my '29 AA. The seller thinks the GarWood is a model FC4 dump box. Does anyone have any info on this dump box, and does anyone know if it would fit on a '29 AA?
Thanks in advance,

Re: Worm Drive Gear Ratio
Both my '29s have the stamp on its side. First is an "A" (low speed), and the second is the "B" (high speed). http://i1132.photobucket.com/albums/m561/elfox1/1929%20Ford%20School%20Bus/IMG_0352_zps0a32d39c.jpg https://i1132.photobucket.com/albums/m561/elfox1/1929%20Ford%20School%...

Re: 1930 model AA helper springs?
They look alot like the helper springs on my '29 school bus. However, looks like yours doesn't have the pad on the top of the axle where they meet. Maybe it wasn't required on the later models? http://i1132.photobucket.com/albums/m561/elfox1/1929%20Ford%20School%20Bus/023_zps655b20c2.jpg - Dave

Re: AA spring perches WTB
The '29 spring perches are as rare and hens' teeth. Just my $.02, but if yours can be rebuilt, I'd rebuild them. My '29 came with the correct spring perches on it, and I destroyed them trying to get them out. I twisted one off, and cut the second and threw them away before I did any research into ho...

Re: 1928 ford AA truck
I'm not the seller. The seller is Dave, and he posted his contact info under the last picture on the previous page - kinda hard to see, but it said: "dave 408 722 2518 70 miles south of san Francisco."
