I receintly removed my Dual High, It was installed behind my 4 speed, kind of a mess installation, I put in an extension tube in its place. When I was a kid my brother would drain the oil out of our 1941 John Deere H fill with kerosine, start it let it run for a few minutes, then drain and fill with proper oil never seemed to hurt it???????? John

Update, I ended up replacing the core, After driving for about 20 minutes in 105 temp the engine temp was around 180 degrees. I think I am ok with it. John

Update, I lengthened the drive shaft by 3/4" it now is 1/4" below top edge of bell, I am putting the axle on the top of the spring hanger to cut down on the angle of the drive shaft. The bolt I am using is 7/16" 1 1/4 Long Grade 5, with a half inch flat washer and two 7/16 flat washer...

Brian, I just sent my AA radiator to a shop that I have used before and highly recommened, I was told that they will pull both ends to see if it can be rodded, if it wont hold up to rodding they will replace the core.
