They match !!! No Title problems, I am driving up there tomorrow to look it over. Any suggestions on what I should look for? He says the numbers on the heads don't match they say 1946 and the motor has a steel tag from a rebuilder in seattle that is dated 1948. so, probably not the original engine, ...

From what I have been reading the Ford BB could have the 4 or 8 cylinder engine in them I need to locate the serial number on this Truck, Has clean title but I still need it inspected when I register it, is the serial number under the cab on top of the frame rail like the AA ? Red, I was on the early ford V/8 forum and also the Ford Barn, They both good for cars but just ok for our trucks, I guess I am spoiled with this forum.

I am looking to buy a Ford Model BB V/8 and have been looking for a BB forum. Is their any good ones around the net ? Found the ford barn , I don't expect it to be as good as this one. this is the best forum. but I can't find anything .

If a person bought a AA Ford Truck who lives in Pennsylvania from a person living in another state with a bill of sale only , what would be the procedure to obtain a title in Pennsylvania ? Is it possible?

Thanks for the information guys and Shelby, a broom handle makes more sense , it is longer and safer just like Roadster says " watch the fan" and I think a stethoscope might be too sensitive and pick up sounds away from the problem area, you know ? I will get out the old broom out and give...

Addressing the gas problem now, new valve, and such, I took off the instrument panel and and opened up a new can of worms, You jus can't fix one thing you have to fix everything while you have in apart, you know how that goes. Chris and Drew thank you very much, Now, what is the procedure to lift the cab to find the serial number? I just undo all the body bolts and jack it up? Is there a trick to it, Also can I remove the floor boards to access the serial number. I could got out in the shop and look it over but it is too ...

Drew , you are saying the R designate rebuilt ? do the other numbers mean anything, did the factory or whoever rebuilt the engine re stamp it, and did they grind off the old number to re stamp it, or is it a rebuilt block that was re-stamped ? sorry for all the questions at once, Thanks a lot for th...
