gunmetal, not to derail the thread but what is the name of the color on the 28-29 AA?

I noticed a bunch of parts for sale here in northern Utah. Both Model A and AA. Its being sold as one lot. I would be interested but there is way to much stuff for me. I see that the original split rings on the AA rims were cadmium plated. I have checked around my area and no one does cadmium plating but a few do zinc plating.
