Re: AA Floor Mat
I talked to Steve the owner at Bert's and some guy in the parts dept. at Synders and both said the pickup mat alignment for the shifter and brake do not align up for the AA. I assume the four speed transmission is longer and the cutouts would be farther back on the mat.

AA Floor Mat
I am looking for a new 28-29 AA floor mat, both Synders and Berts both say not available, the standard pickup mat shifter and emergency brake cutouts are different. Does anyone know of a source, other than fabricating out of rubber matting??
Thanks!

Re: Single wheel to dual wheel conversion?
My '29 has a four speed transmission and is equiped with the worm gear differential, (which appears to be the same as my old 1925 Model TT's). As you suggested, the 1929 was mid year production and may not have had the dual wheel option, if so will leave it authentic.
Thanks!!

Single wheel to dual wheel conversion?
I have a 1929 AA stake bed with single wheel re-axle. I would like to add dualies, besides inner rims and tires, what else is required? Is the rear-end and axles common with both configurations??
Thanks!

Shock Absorber Lubricant
Looking for insight on the proper lubrication for "original" front shocks for my 29' AA. Steve, at Bert's Model A Center in Denver recommends Hydrolic Jack Oil, does anyone know what Henry used???
Thanks,
Pat

Re: Worm drive differential lubrication
Thanks Keith!
I think the worm drive differential must have been a carry over from the T era, a friend has a 1925 TT with a very similar arrangement.

Worm drive differential lubrication
Hello out there! Just recently purchased a 1929 AA that is an early restoration (1986), but was in storage for several years. I am going through and changing all the fluids, and have flushed and added new 600w to the rear-end. Question: There is a separate and smaller fill plug above over the worm d...
