Re: Affordable tires for a '30 AA Stakebed

One of the largest car show/swap meet weekends is in Iola, Wisconsin, about 3 1/2 hours due east of Minneapolis.
This year the show runs July 6 - 8.
Google ‘Iola Old Car Show’ for more info.
A real variety of things there.

Good Luck !

Re: Drive line upper grease fittings and roller bearing

600 x 20 Tires

So, I am contemplating buying new tires. When I go to the web sites, for instance, Coker Tires, I can see pictures of the tires that mainly show the tread design, and the sidewalls in all the pictures are plain, they show no manufacturer name on them. I am asking if anyone can post pictures of the s...

Re: Cotter pins

The Restorer, May/June 2015, page 10 has a complete list of sizes and locations, as submitted by Rick Black. I’ve tried to upload the list, but am having trouble doing that. I’ll continue to try. I looked at that page from the Restorer again, and it's a list for what's used on the Model A's. For the...

Re: Correct operators manual for late 1928 AA

Don Turley is a national judge, and deals in parts, tools, and manuals. He would be the guy to ask. I’ve talked with him, and bought a manual from him. Nice guy to deal with. E-mail him. don@donturley
You can look him up here on Ford Barn, search his name, Don Turley.

Re: Spare parts stock?

Points, condenser, and a starter drive. Carry a crank with you, in case the starter drive breaks while you’re out touring somewhere. It happened to me once, I was thankful I had a crank with me. Be sure you know the right way to crank it also, always pull up, never push down. In neutral and parking ...

Re: PTO and hydraulic lever

Our truck has a little different set-up. It is equipped with a hydraulic dump body by The Marion Steel Body Company, of Marion, Ohio. The PTO lever pivots on a longer bolt that is also used for mounting the hand brake. The small crank shaped rod that is under the seat, goes out through the back of t...
