Re: ford AA express tailgate chains.

The chain assembly allowed the tail gate to open about 104° rather than 90° like the 78-A pickup tail gate....

WANTED: Warford Overdrive Shift Handle
I recently bought a '28 Model AA chassis for parts and was pleasantly surprised to find it has a Warford Overdrive unit mounted behind the 3 speed transmission. Unfortunately it is missing the shift handle. Does anyone out there have a Warford shift handle in your parts pile that you would part with...

Re: They're still out there waiting to be found!
"the oil on the dip stick is as clear as if you changed it yesterday." That is because after sitting for 66 years all the impurities in the oil settled to the bottom. If the motor was started without cleaning the pan the oil would quickly turn black, and likely be thick with crud. He's dr...

Re: Crank handle
When Budd started supplying Ford with 5 hole disc wheels in January 1930, the lug nuts were changed to 7/8 x 1-1/2 hex nuts which required a separate lug wrench other than the starting crank.s147881 wrote:What makes this an AA crank handle?

Re: New Facebook Group for Model AA Ford Truck Lovers
Your question has a interesting tone. Made me think that the two could be looked at in such a way: This site is tremendous, and rather like a college - whereas face book would be like visiting after class. The two really should not be compared or judged one against the other. Mike Greene has provid...
