Four speed tranny

I have a AA four speed transmission that has been in the barn for probably sixty years. I just disassembled it to do an inspection and there is no rust, no pitting, and the gears look great. However, I think the bearings should be replaced. If interested, shoot me an offer!

I'm just about done with Grandpa's old AA Truck. It seems that the ole gal is sitting a little low in the front. I have a measurement of about 2 7/8 inches between the top of the axle and the bottom of the U-bolt bracket under the spring. Can anybody tell me what this measurement would be if it had ...

Tranny question

I'm thinking about trading out my light duty 3 speed tranny for the four speed on my AA '29 Truck. I would like to keep my
high-low two speed. Was this an option at one time or :?: If this possible, what parts and pieces would I need to do this conversion and hook the two together?

Did the original AA truck engines have counter-weighted crankshafts? I was told this by the old timer that poured my bearings. If so,
where did all the counter-weighted crankshafts go? :?
