29 bevel gear, rear end parts needed

i still ned to buy a tourqe tube and driveshaft for a 29 bevel gear rear end. it is different from a worm drive, and a 30-31 bevel rear, and does not share those parts. it looks like the regular model A car rear end but twice as big. as before i offered a finders fee of i think $100.00 and that stil...

bradshaw, thanks for your reply. i have studied the worm type outer tube and they are a completely different shape. i have not seen the inner drive shaft of a worm design but because of length differences, it could only contribute to the cut and splice solution. there is a man in Pa. that has the ex...

mr. scott , please be advised about interchanges of wheels. although the "bolt pattern" fits a given application , if the center hole does not hug the bearing hub you invite disaster. the lug bolts were never meant to carry all the loads the vehiles could encounter. happy motoring , dick k...

warford conversion to 30

chris, i too had to stick a warford in a 30 frame. i found the third x member to be in the right location for the rear mount of the warford with the simple addition of two extra holes. however i to had to use the go around 29 brake shaft, so i measured and drilled the thirty frame to be the exact lo...

29 front axles

what you need is an axle from a car as they are the same as early 29 AA's. be sure to keep your aa spindles, drums, wishbone, shocks etc as they are aa only. the bare axle beam, king pins, and spring perches, will interchange from a to aa. if there is something i forgot please hold out for a more ex...

i have a 29AA rear end that is shortened for a doodlebug and need to make it long again. it is not a worm type, it is a 29 beveled type, that is to say it fits the 6 spoke wheels and looks like the regular model a rear, but is twice or three times as big. the drums are 14", the backing plates a...
