Re: GREAT SOURCE FOR VINTAGE BEARINGS
from what i learned, the hyatt numbers are the cage numbers and not the bearing numbers. the old man at south shore matched them up side by side with his micrometer. he did supply ball bearings bca 6210 and 6307. the counter shaft bearings said 7528 on the ends. the bearings in the cluster gear were...

Re: GROOVED VERSUS SMOOTH HYATT STYLE ROLLER BEARINGS
there is a company called lang't that sells model T parts. i looked in their hyatt section. they said that the one's that are available don't have the grooves and they would not recommend using them on the outer end of rear axles. this made me wonder?

GROOVED VERSUS SMOOTH HYATT STYLE ROLLER BEARINGS
ARE THESE INDEED FOR OIL FLOW. I HAVE HEARD THAT THIS IS JUST A MARKING FROM THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS. THE STEEL IS WRAPPED AROUND THE ROLLERS ALMOST LIKE RIBBON? SOME SAY THIS STYLE FLEXES AND THE NEW STYLE ie. SMOOTH DOES NOT GIVE AND IS A BAD DESIGN. ANY IDEAS OR VIEWS, EXPERIENCE??? THANK YOU I...

Re: Truck progress photos
thank you for the info. are there any other seals that i should check before install. i purchased warford ready to bolt in. very clean inside, honest guy sold it to me. just want to be sure other than the obvious gaskets that there are no other seals in the "snoats" on each end of the unit.
