Re: 1929 AA Express Parts Build

Very nice and very fair price. I think a lot of folks are tight on money now a days. They need to live like the AA folks of their time. Hope you are well. Kevin

Re: tire wear on outside slight one side

the bad wheels on rear are about 3/4 inch out of round. i put a cement block near wheel with screwdriver almost touching wheel. spin it and see at the most the tip of driver is 3/4 inch away. they are steel wheels with holes. the front wheels maybe 1/4 inch out of round. a simple but infallible meas...

Re: Worm drive differential lubrication

i know the thrust gets hit with oil because it leaks out off the cover. i will have to make a cork gasket. has anyone run the 600w oil from snyders in bronze gears with no problem. i am using lupriplate but think it might be overkill and 2x the money.

worm drive rear end oil

i have been using the lupriplate oil for years. yellow gear safe. i spoke to doug at snyders last year i think and he said the 600w oil they sell is fine for bronze gears. he said model Ts had bronze gears. what is the real answer. i saw article in AA mag. but wonder if perhaps the lupriplate is ove...
