Re: Relocated fuel tank
Who cares what others say....it is YOUR truck and as I see it, it is better that it is out being driven and enjoyed instead of rusting away in a field or sitting in a storage shed.

Re: AA Transmission
Thanks stakebed,
I'm going to be putting a lot of the extra things for sale soon. My father was into model a's so he collected a lot of items. (Fenders, engine blocks, ect) Just a matter of seeing what all is there and listing them. Hopefully I can get enough to put my 31 back on the road.

Great article. And I bet if everything had gone "perfect" on this trip it would be no where near as memorable.

Re: 1 1/2 Weight Tag
Thanks stew, I am thinking I will just paint it the same color as the utah 29 plate. This was a green background and black letters. If wrong I am sure I will hear about it at the first car show.

Re: 1 1/2 Weight Tag
I have this original one my father had on his truck. It is a 1929 Utah 2 1/2 ton. (. Could not get the pic to load, sorry) He sandblasted it to clean it up and reprint it but unfortunately he passed away before he could paint it. If anyone knows the correct color it would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: Swap Meet Calendar
Not really for swap meets but here in Utah there is the site Thanks2frank.com that list all car shows for the year. Great place for leads for that hard to find part.
