Re: Large rear tire size?
Thank you for the response So sounds like the current configuration of the rear tires is not original? The truck has migrated to (what we call) our Hillbilly Truck. Thinking I may try to locate this larger tire. I measured the tires and rim - tire appears to be 36" tall by 8.5" wide Rim is...

Large rear tire size?
Hello all
I need to replace my rear tire, it's a single rather than dual.
Larger than the 600 x 20 on the front.
Only info marked is Michelin Metalic B Y 20.
What is it and who has 'em?
Thanks in advance,
Gary

Re: Radiators - pressurized, flat tube, rows???
KVO Thanks for your great response. I spoke with my local radiator shop regarding pressurized systems. He cautioned the fact - if the cooling system had not been upgraded (seals, pump) there may be a risk of leaks. His thought was to remain unpressurized, purchase new rather than recore - new metal ...

Radiators - pressurized, flat tube, rows???
Confused I have 3 candidates, one immediate, for new radiators. The immediate is a 1931 AA flatbed. So help me understand the differences between 3 rows, 4 rows, flat tube and dimpled. Next, pressurized vs unpressurized - is pressurized something I can and want to do? Looks like you can buy 4 rows u...

Tires - need your input!
Hello I have two 1931 trucks that will need tires all around. The first has rear duals, the other singles. Both trucks are kept in their origional working clothes - rough. 600x20 What options and where would you recommend? Obviously a good price would help with 10 tires. Many thanks in advance Gary NJ

Re: Oils - bottom line what's your favorite?
Great info - thank you very much for the swift replies.
I checked my local farm & auto parts stores, no luck with anything that thick.
Will probably have to mail order.
By chance, what capacity is the transmission?
Thanks,
Gary

Oils - bottom line what's your favorite?
The beginning of many basic questions... I've searched the web, lots of good info on the best transmission and rear end oils. Without any good experience, I'd like your input. I'm having issues getting into 3rd and 4th gears, figured this is a good time to change fluids not knowing what's in there n...

What manual(s) do I need?
Hello all
Well, I successfully shipped & received a 1930 AA Dump Truck.
Very happy and feel fortunate to own it, I now need great reference materials to work on it.
Can you recommend the best manuals and where to obtain them?
Many thanks in advance,
Gary

Where can I locate (or does anyone know) the weight and dimensions of a 1930 AA Dump Truck?
This will be for shipping purposes.

Thanks in advance.
