I'm looking for the housing cover that bolts on the back end of the transmission and then bolts up to the split housing on the driveshaft end. I now have a steel housing, but i'm guessing its the wrong one.

Can anyone tell me if the housing that bolts on the transmission is a steel or cast iron housing. The one I have on there now is a steel one, however I do not believe it is the correct one. It's not matching to the cast split housing that is on the driveshaft end

Would you have the universal joint housing that bolts on the transmission. It's a 6 hole bolt pattern that bolts on to the split housing on the end of the driveshaft. I believe that is an eight hole. I would like to see a picture if possible.

Would anyone have a schematic (parts list) of how the drive shaft attach's to the transmission. I have a 1928 AA truck. I was looking at a drawing for a car, however I believe the truck parts I have seem to be different. Thanks for any help. Randy
