Original Shocks
Had the original shocks from my AA rebuilt and installed back on the truck. They were found in the parts box after I purchased my truck. The original shock links were there as well. I took them apart and cleaned all the old grease out, re-greased and assembled them. The shocks make a big difference ...

AACA Car Show 10-18-2014
Very cool local car show. Lots of interesting cars and friendly people. There were 2 Model T's and 3 A's to keep the AA company. http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc57/methos109/Truck011.jpg http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc57/methos109/Truck072.jpg http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc57/metho...

Re: First Show in the 29 AA
Brian,
That was a Dodge COE. There were a number of A's and a few T's at the show but no other AA's.

Re: Tire size and tread pattern
Note the tube valve stem in the archive photo above. It is a double bent stem. I think that the tubes available today are single bent stems. This can present a problem with the stem hitting the wheel where the stem extends through the opening. I got my tubes today and yes they are a single bent met...

Re: Tire size and tread pattern
I just bought 4 Coker U.S. Royal Tire 6.00-20 Blackwall Bias-Ply 75580 from eBay with free shipping. I got my flaps and tubes from Mikes. Their prices are a few bucks less for the tubes.

Original Window Riser Crank Handle Needed
While finishing up the interior on my AA over the weekend the original crank handle fell off the regulator, hit the running board and broke in half. I have an original on the passenger door so a repop is not going to work. Hoping someone out there in Double A land has a spare original that I ...

Re: 1929 Drum Tail Light Bakelite Socket
Thanks Brian. As my tail light is original I was hoping to find an original socket but I ordered a replacement from Snyders. And yes a bit pricey at $45. ^^^ That and whats the easiest way to replace one? Mine was rusted in so I soaked it in pb blaster. There is a small pin on the the back and at th...
