The nice thing about the A and AA as they are fairly similar-the AA is just beefier. Might drop the pan first and clean out any sludge and flush the rad to make sure it is clean.

The heater is a Ford option at the time. How well they work is anyone's guess. If it even hooked up to the inside of the cab? If you want a heater I would install one of the cast iron ones. as far as the braces, I saw something mentioned about bracing a cab like that in really late 31 some where. Mike

This is how dad explained the 4 speed to me. Start engine, engage 1st gear, let out clutch peddle, truck moves, shift into 2nd. That granny gear with those steep gears will pull anything. You may want to start out in 2nd so you will be able to go more than two miles and hour before you shift.

The two bodies that I thought were really cool were the expanding motorhome body (I thought that was a modern invention) and the last truck/special delivery which had stained glass in the side panels.

I have the exact same set up on my car and when I run with the lights on I discharge around -2 amps. Parking lights make the meter flicker but that is about it. No lights and I am charging around +8 amps or so.
