Re: Canadian Timken differential
Hello Pinesdunes. I was part of this thread when it was new. I am now looking for the outer axle bearings, 383 and 385. The numbers on my bearings end with a + , but all bearing numbers I find have an A at the end. Did you buy new bearings, and where did you get them from?

Re: How many classes of AA trucks
I have a poster in my garage showing light, medium and heavy specs for my ‘28 AA. But they are all rated at 1 and 1/2 tons.

Re: Looking for Information
That is a Canadian AA. Those solid disc wheels give it away. I don’t know what type of cab that you have on it. It doesn’t look like a Brantford cab.

Wow. I’m only 45 mins away from Dawson Creek. My AA has the same rear end. Can I ask who you bought it from?

Posting pics
Is there an easy(ier) way to post pics on the forum directly from my cell phone? I enjoy this forum and get a lot of helpful info from it. But I tend to use the model AA Ford truck group on Facebook more because it is more user friendly when posting pics. Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m not in...

Re: pics.....
I know that technology changes in 4 1/2 years. Why can’t I take a pic with my phone and post it here? It keeps saying file too big. My phone is my computer. I have questions to ask you all, but it’s no use asking without showing pics of the problem.

I guess there is no need for a horn when you have a massive siren under it.
That is a great looking fire truck.

Re: 3 speed shifter
I'll take some pics and post them here this weekend. I'm sure it is factory painted black. The parking brake is also black. It is mounted on the tower at the front. The ratchet that the pawl goes against is different also. One has 4 teeth and the other has 5 teeth.

3 speed shifter
For my 1928 AA, is the shifter and park brake lever black or chrome? I have one of each available to use. I am guessing that the commercial trucks were dressed down. Would the black one be the correct color?
