Front Drum Lugs
I have a 31 AA which on the left (Drivers) side has one lug (stud) missing and one lug stripped. Is there anything special about these Lugs? I see in all Model A Parts places they have Lugs and lug nuts for the rear wheels, but they only sell Lug Nuts for the front wheels. My truck is far from being...

Re: Shift tower question
Figured I would give an update, the shift lever was welded up and the slot was machined to 5/8 to match the hole which was bored out to 5/8. I am waiting for a a few parts before putting it back together.

Re: Shift tower question
What can be done about the oblong hole in the shift tower? can this be filled, or will it need to be drilled out and a larger pin used?

Re: Shift tower question
I pulled out the shift lever (Thanks for the advice Bob), and as mentioned the pin was all but destroyed. Also the section where the pin meets on the shifter ball is also pretty badly worn out. What is the recommended fix; recommend replacement, have it welded up or any other advice? Thanks for any ...

Re: Shift tower question
So the Pins are the only thing that may need to be replaced to keep it from rotating like it does?

Shift tower question
Starting some work on the Truck, I figured I would start with the shift tower. It seems to shift but also wants to rotate in place. I took it off, and plan to rebuild it. I found an article written by Tom Endy (http://www.santaanitaas.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Transmission-Tower-Restoration.pdf...

Re: New member - new project
There were actually 2 rusty bumpers in the back and a pair of running boards which are too thin (probably from a Model A). I'll try and get some pictures of the rear fenders in the morning when I have some light. In the back was also a left and right rusty apron as well. The Apron on the truck is on...

New member - new project
Hi all, I'm sure you have all heard this before; but, new member here with a new project under hand. I just recently purchased a 31 Model AA. Its somewhat of a basket case, but figure with a little time, effort and TLC I can get her on the road. It looks somewhat complete but just no life in her. Fr...
