Finally It's restored

I purchased this Model AA 1929 in 1964 for $25 and later purchased the wagon box for $10. I just finished restoring her for the second time. The wooden barrel in the bed is an original Coca Cola syrup barrel. Check out the pics posted. I live 10 miles from the San Diego MARC Convention site and will...

Re: MARC National Meet - San Diego June 21 to July 1, 2011

I live about 10 miles from the site of the 2011 MARC Convention in San Diego. I will be there with my newly restored 1929 AA Express Delivery. I have a wagon box mounted on back. I originally purchased this truck in 1964 for $25 and later paid $10 for the wagon box. Being local I will be glad to hel...

Re: Express Wire Wheel hubcaps

Niel,
thanks for the info. I called Aero Propeller and will be shippin hubcaps to them soon. However were all lug nuts plated or were some painted black? What is original for the 28-29 AA lug nut color?
Thanks

Express Wire Wheel hubcaps

I have an easy question. Originally were the express wire wheel hubcaps chrome, cadmium or nickel plated or some other combination? Where is a good plating shop to get the hub caps redone? I have been recommended that Aero Propeller in Broomfield Colorado does a good job. Can anyone confirm this? An...

Re: Sun Visor

I see your are from San Diego. Me too. I just had mine visor done by Arryo Brothers in National City. They did a good job. Email me and I will send you some pics or you are welcome to stop by and see my 29AA wagon box.

Any Interior Cab upholstery pictures

After 3 years and mucho $ in restoration I am about to finish my 1929 AA closed cab express delivery truck, (82-A, I believe). Does anyone have some pictures of the inside cab top? Specifically the headliner above the windshield? How was this finished originally? I have seen several restorations but...
