1928 88-A platform

its come time to put new wood on my flatbed. there is none now so I have nothing to copy. I cant find the info. for number of boards, the width and length. i believe the boards are 5/4. i have the original metal "slats"for the boards. any info would help.

exhaust manifold to inlet pipe donut

Anybody know where to get the do-nut gasket from the exhaust manifold to the inlet pipe? The one in my '29 is shot. I remember years ago they had asbestos in them. The Model A catalogs I've looked at don't carry them. Maybe another year one will fit?

In trying to register my long owned and long parked 1929 AA that the DMV has no record of. (thats another story) The Calif. Highway Patrol says i need a rear view mirror. I pointed out that they were not factory issued. They say I need one in order to register the truck. Rather then fight with them ...

anybody recommend a good water proof AA truck cover? the racks will be off and the bed is a 88-A. Im not so concerned about the bed but would really like to cover the body.

very cool truck! i was wondering if you knew where i could find a "turn signal arm" similar to the one on your truck. Ive tried ebay, craigslist etc etc. no luck. good luck with your title!!

My 29AA has a pedal operated 2 speed high low box. the truck has been stored inside for over 30 years and never driven. i recently got it running and drove it out of the shop. whoops! i just posted this in the wrong forum, sorry! mM boss just bought a pieced together AA, sold as a 28. its a backyard build and the engine block number is RF 5000. no Star before or after. I have not ever seen that stamping---anybody--any clues or answers?
