Re: Spare Tire Carrier on 88-A Bed Trouble
Are my hinges attached correctly to the frame? (Meaning, should they mount under the frame instead of on top of the frame as I have them) With the roll on the back edge of the frame, it would make it difficult to mount the spare tire carrier hinge underneath without a spacer, but that would give me ...

Re: Spare Tire Carrier on 88-A Bed Trouble
Hi,
The tire rim contacts the spare wheel stops (AA-1474) before the carrier goes up far enough for the nut of the rear hinge (AA-1470-B??) to be able to be engaged.
I added some more photos.
Thanks
Dave

Spare Tire Carrier on 88-A Bed Trouble
Hi All, Awkward question… I have an 88-A bed on my February ‘31 AA with 20” wheels. Why does the spare tire not fit? The “V” shaped spare wheel stops (AA-1474) are 20-3/8” on-center at their apex. They rest against the rim like they should but they limit the end of the carrier from being close enoug...

Mirror Bracket
Hi All,
I have an AA-17745-C (red arrow) mirror bracket correct starting from 3/31.
I am looking to trade for an AA-17745-B (yellow highlight) that would be correct for my truck.
Anyone interested?
Thanks,
Dave

Jack Identification
Hi All,
Can anyone help me to identify this jack?
It was suggested that it is not a true AA jack because it does not have the oval cut out windows on the sides.
Any input appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

Hi,
Wondering if anyone can tell me how the rubber and copper clips are installed.
These are the parts I bought from Snyder's.
Thanks,
Dave

Re: Side View Mirror Bracket AA-17698 (14-11/16" long)
Hi Neil, I was able to get the bracket. I intended to use the mirror I currently have on the short arm, but the short arm has a recess in the hole for the mirror stud. On the long arm, the threaded stud of the mirror will not go all the way through the mounting hole because there is no recess. Can y...

Hi,
I am looking for a long side view mirror bracket for the 82B cab.
Does anyone have one available?
Neil, did you ever get to making any repros if an original is not available?
Thanks,
Dave

Wiper Hose Clips & Floor Mat Trim Questions
Hi, On my 1931 82-B cab, I installed a wiper motor and the metal vacuum tubing that runs up inside the right window frame. How should the hose be secured as it runs from the wiper to the metal vacuum tube on the right? Also, I have the rubber mat for the cab floor. How should the sides be trimmed? R...

Re: Kick Panel Placement
Neil,
Do you happen to have a picture that shows a little higher up on the end of the dash rail?
There’s a long tail of hem off the top of the kick panel and would like to see how it terminals in that space between the dash rail and door post.
Thanks
Dave
