They used a heavier front axle starting in 1930 but all the AA's were rated at 1 1/2 tons.

That part you are showing looks like the cross member for a Reeves frame extension
so you may be dealing with some non Ford parts.

The Model A driveshaft is 1 1/16" and the AA is 1 1/4" so you can't respline the A driveshaft to 10 spline.

Nice looking truck. Everything you list would be standard on a 1928. The one thing I would question is the open end bumper. It was only used on the first 200 Model A's and trucks didn't come with bumpers from the factory until about May 1928 although one could be supplied by the dealer. What is the ...

You also have to be careful with oversize front tires as they can rub the brake rods in a turn.

I say the spacers are not factory as the parts book shows the bolts for the bumper are only 1 1/4" long.

The first two links worked for me and the rest just said error in the upper left hand corner then I went back and tried the first two again
and now I get error on them.

I think I broke it :mrgreen: I was on it and tried to go to a different page and got the error message after that
no matter what page I tried to open I got the error message.
