The parts book show the nut had a Japan black finish. I think the front mount was
installed in the chassis before the engine so it may have been painted with the frame.

I think if you need to shim the engine up 1-1 1/2" you have a major problem someplace, sagging frame maybe.

The top one is aftermarket and they had rubber inside the springs. You have to check the springs on the new kit as some of the springs are to long. I think Bert's sells a kit with the correct springs. Marco has the prints for the springs on his site. https://web.archive.org/web/20140609222939/http:/...
