Re: Rear brakes, seals, bearings 30-31
I am taking some pictures. I have already put the rr back together, but the hand brake band on the lr is worn to the rivets on the upper end. Probably because they were not adjusted properly. Somewhere on here I read that many suppliers send 1/4" linings instead of 3/16". Where is a good s...

Re: Coupling shaft assembly
Thanks for the reply Stakebed. I could use a shorter one as long as the ends hook up, I could lengthen the shaft and tube. The 4 speed trans shaft appears to be 1 5/16" & 6 spline & the torque tube shaft 1 1/4" 10 spline. Is that standard for the 30-31?

Coupling shaft assembly
Does anyone know where I might find a coupling shaft for a 157" (long) wheel base 30-31 AA? I would need front & rear u-joints and shaft. I have some of the tube and ends.

Re: New member 10/26/16 with puzzle
Bob, I got this one pic on by accident. SO far I haven't had another accident. When they wrote a computer book for dummies, they didn't know about me. I'll keep trying.

ENjoying your forum. Glad to see so many AA fans participating. I purchased a 31 truck, finally.( I think) There doesn't seem to be many in my area; either the salt air has eaten them to pieces or they must be concours winners or gold plated. The puzzle is, what kind of fordor was the cab made from....
