Re: Looking for some advice on AA trucks

One question I have is on the inside of the back cover, there's an Express bed with high sides on it. Any of those survive? I actually like the shorter Express bed, but was curious after seeing that. Alan That is the 242-A Heavy Duty Express - few survivors - more at http://aafords.com/open-bodies/...

Re: Trafficators - Anyone installed these on their trucks

I asked our local state PD about orange triangles and even strobing amber warning lights. He looked it up in the vehicle code book and yes it is illegal to put both on my AA BUT he said in todays world and the fact that no-one goes the posted 55mph speed limit on the highway he nor his fellow office...

Re: Front spring clip question

I always thought the spring clamps are what neil posted above because they do clamp (and make sure thier clamped hard) and the things that pine wants are clips. I didnt know brattons made several sizes. if you find yours is close you can always make something to slip the bolt through to "tighte...

Re: Front spring clip question

you dont want them loose. we made some for my 18 leaf front spring and used some standard flat sock from the farm supply stores. Used a press and 2 U shaped things to press the U shape. slipped them over the spring and carefully measured where holes should go. drilled and using a grade 8 bolt they l...

same is true for the 28/29 with dual high - it has a neutral position that drives the PTO. then the 3 speed trans is your speeds and reverse.

Re: "29 hood

I have the perfect one but unfortunately Im in IL :( I wouldn't think it would be bank busting to box up a hood and ship it. If you pull the panels apart it should go into a relatively small box. Oh its already apart and hinges straightened just keeping the wasps company in the shed 8) Faded rock m...

I'm not pushed to buy, and while I could pull the trigger on one at the right price, I want to find one that will work out best for me. I have long lusted for a...
