Re: '29 Hi/Low trans linkage.

I envision a brake rod and some assorted tools in my near future.

Re: '29 Hi/Low trans linkage.

Sorry, it took me awhile to get back to this. You're saying I have the correct trans for a pre-October '29, just the wrong pedal. I've included another fuzzy pic of the dual trans. I can make the double eye rod work as long as it's about 15" long. At this point, functional would be better than ...

Re: '29 Hi/Low trans linkage.

First off, thanks for posting. What I have looks a little different. Concentric rings not parallel lines. The distance between the two eyes is approx. 15".

'29 Hi/Low trans linkage.

My profile pic is my truck. I was able to finally acquire the rocker pedal for the hi-low trans and rough it in. Now I just need the linkage. I can fab something, but I I'd rather have original. Any parts out there? I can hazard some pics of my trans, but they'll be from under the truck. 732-591-8880

Re: 1929 AA truck cover

I started a thread Nov 11, 2016 on this. CarCover USA will make a custom one for you. I think you can search my posts for more info. Hope it helps. California Car Cover sucks.

Re: Warford auxiallry transmission

Doesn't look like there's enough meat on the outside of the case for a drift pin. Possibly the snap ring rotted away and the shaft "walked" back a bit covering the slot for the snap ring. Try exercising the shaft back and forth a few times, applying heat and PB blaster. Maybe the rust is a...

Who's AA is still turnin' jobs?

Once a year, one of my landscape customers goes on vacation and needs me to water all the potted plants on the patio. Yes, I do get to charge for this, but I do cut my rate in half. It's only about 2m from the shop on some back roads. I'll get a coffee and head over at 6AM at a rip roarin' 20mph to ...

Re: upholstery interior closed cap 1930

I've been wanting to do that myself. I was going to get it from Mac's ( oops. an Ekert family of companies) and was wondering about the quality.

Re: Truck/car cover

I lucked out and found out who made the cover. CarCoverUSA, http://www.carcoverusa.com/, a dealer for CoverCraft, was able to make a cab only cover for a '29 AA. No phone #, so everything is done through e-mail, but the guy gets back to you fast. He'll e-mail you a form, you provide the measurements...

Exactly how did you upload an avatar? I can't find the option anywhere. When to "edit avatar" and there's no option.

Truck/car cover

Hello all. Brand new to the forum. Still learning the ropes. Does anybody know who makes AA covers? I bought one some years ago, but the seller info is lost in my files. Mac's doesn't sell AA covers and California Car Covers is not to be trusted. It would be a shame to buy a pick-up cover and cut it...
