I have developed a rod knock. Time to pull the pan and see whats happening. Hopefully the crank isn't damaged. That would open a big can of worms. I guess that answered my question whether my engine had poured or inserted bearings.

Just got home, engine is stamped. *AA532 622* that should be october 1928 if my chart is right. Frame data plate is missing or if frame is stamped I do not see it. Wire wheels are 1928. I doubt it is a four speed unless it was installed after leaving the factory. Your reverse should be to the left and up. A Mitchell Gear Splitter will give you a good overdrive for more speed.
