FYI - RGJS considers "Early" as January through April.
Neil,
My other Early '30 AA Project's frame number is from May 1930. Perhaps this is another instance of the RGJS being incorrect?

Are you looking for a particular serial number range or what??
From what Neil has posted it looks like the frames were the same
from January 1930 through March 1931.

Re: Early '30 frame wanted

The Early '30 was the Short Wheelbase with the split case Timken (bevel gear) rear-end. They used the same cab and fenders as the '28 & '29. They were made into June of 1930. Number range would be somewhere between 2742696 and 3700257.

Re: New to the Forums and full of Questions

Warford's are few and far between. Add to this they are usually noisy from lots of wear. A Mitchell Gear Splitter is a new, readily available unit, that will give you a good overdrive. http://mitchelloverdrivemfg.com/the-missing-gear/

Re: Looking for some advice on AA trucks

One fine day I was Southbound on CA Hwy 99 through the CA Central Valley. Traveling at 65-70 MPH I was blown away when I was passed by a 30/31 AA Panel truck. Many miles later I saw the welcoming In 'N Out sign and pulled off to get a fine hamburger. To my surprise the AA was in the parking lot. I m...
