When I had 700s on my Early 30 the tires hit the front brake rods when turning.

I know that Timken rear-end was used in a variety of vehicles. Were any fitted with gear sets higher than 5:14?

Ford shows a drawing date of May 7,1930 for the long wheel base frame and the Chicago Service Letter of June13, 1930 mention the long wheel base frame. Drawing date is not production date. You will notice a power increase. Unless you got to some sort of Overdrive you aren't going to go much faster. Mitchell can supply you with a good one.

It is an Early 1930. They all have Banjo rear ends.
