Re: spare wheel carrier
The parts book I'm using is a 7/31 Parts price list. Seems to have most of what I need in the way of numbers. I'm no too worried about the lugs. Whould just like a full set of anything to hold the wheels on.Most of mine are deeply pok marked with rust. Eventually yhey will come to me. Thanks for all...

Re: 5th wheel for an AA
One of mt "A" clum members(passed resently) had an unrestored 29 with a flat bed behind it. To tell the truth I never looked at the brakes on it. But then, I never saw any yhing like brake rod going down the chassis. His passing keep me from bothering the family but I will keep that on min...

Re: spare tire parts, early 28
Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, Thanks Neil. You Just reminded me that I got my spare tire frame from a 29 and I also used the rear crossmember w/hinge. My 28 never made the changover of the first brake system. Has a 3 speed w/ under drive. Could never discover Ser.# and it has a replacment motor. I'm using the &...

Re: Weight of platform
Neil, Thanks for the answers to my question. Without your vast knowledge of the indestructable "AA" where would we be? I can only imagine the books and references you must have to come up with the answers. On behalf of myself and others I'm sure, thankyou and Job Weldone. Happy holiday's t...

Weight of platform
Last night I came on line and posted a message which I rarely do and this morn. it wasn't to be found. Had to have done something wrong. Try again. Someone had asked me what a "AA" flatbed would weigh. I could not find an answer for them. What would a platform bed weigh complete with wood....

Re: Moto-Meter
Motormeter doesn't need to touch water. the hot vapors or steam. if you want to call it that will registor the proper heat if it works. water level should be just below the baffel in the radiator. do not over fill.----bert, fl.
