I have a 1930 AA rear axle that I am restoring, I noticed during teardown the Ring Gear has loose rivets, the holes are not elongated but the rivets are loose to the point I can turn them by hand in their holes. My question is: Can the rivets be tightened? This is a "parade" truck and will...

My Model AA looks to have Helper springs on it...its been parked since 49...are these Ford or some type of aftermarket piece?

Thank you everyone for the kind words and I had not considered it being a cab chassis but that is a likely scenario. I plan on a full frame off nut and bolt restoration and either a platform or drop side bed, replating or repainting all original parts sourcing needed original parts and using minimal...
