I need a low or high speed worm out of a 28 or 29 worm drive rear end. I don't care if the worm gear is bad just need the spline end of it. If you have one laying around I would like to buy it, thanks Bob.

On a 28 or 29 worm drive rear end, is the worm seperate from the splined shaft or is it all one piece, I have a good worm drive coming but the splined shaft looks in the pictures that the spline is in bad shape. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

You didn't say what the steering problem was. Does it just steer hard or what? Let us know and maybe it might be simple to fix.

Neil, when you have a worm drive gears out of the rearend, how can you tell if is low or high speed. I would think that they both are the same diameter since the worm is fix. Are there the same number of teeth and is it only the angle of the teeth which is different? The one on ebay has 29 teeth. Th...
