My understanding was that when the AA got a heavey load as when it was being used as a dump truck the rear tires would rub together and cause undue wear. This is when they came out with the extended rim to seperate the tires for this reason. You could also buy plates to seperate the wheels.

I have 4 old tires for rolling your project around. Make me an offer.

Is there any update on the ring and pinion gears for the rear end that were being investigated? I'm just wondering.
