I have a 1930 aa I SHORTENED TO 112" WHEELBASE AND HAVE A HOME MADE WRECKER WITH A HAND CRANK WINCH. EMAIL ME FOR SOME PICTURES AND BY THE WAY i AM IN TEXAS. It needs some restoration but runs and dirves around the yard. preachermaneddie@yahoo.com

The rear will not go down much (you would have to put alot on it) but I am not going to add any weight to it anywhere. Their is not enough room in the ujoints or the splines on the shaft to allow much movement anyway. The rearend are designed to handle all of the movement. Besides that I am just mak...

I removed the original springs and brackets. I then used about half or less of the rear leaves and u bolted them to the rear axle, this way the u-bolts hold the rearend and torque tube up giving it much support. I welded spring hangers on each frame rail front and back. it works just fine so far. I ...

I will get some more photos on here soon the last one is from last year it is up and running now and finishing the wrecker parts Not going to restore or paint the truck. I will add a bed I am working on putting a longer shop made model a bed on the truck. It will have a hand crank look in a few days.

I missed the orange truck the guy he bough it from offered it to me for 6250- stupid me. I could not get the money right at the moment and I let the other guy buy it. It was way up north I think Conn. It was listed on Aoogha.

I live in Texas Near Fort Worth. I currently am modifying 1930 157" AA to 112" wheelbase may have new pictures next week or so to look at. Looking for other A's to purchase. I like the 30 or 31's the best. (could use a body right now- consider any 30 or 31. -eddie

Hey Just thought I would chime in. I have found it a lot easier with Model A's to have low trailer to ease the loading process. I have put smaller tires and wheels on my trailer to help with loading so you do not have to fly up on it. Also the longer the ramps the better it is. The hauler is a neat ...
