The lever on the left of the first photo look very similar to ones i have seen on early Ford V8's.
as for the rockers may be it was one of Henry's cost savings?
if the eylets end up in the same place he may have looked at the one the left as using less material and the for costing less to produce.

the doors are either totaly timber and steel skinned or Model A Roadster/ phaeton. the rear panel is a pressing. the window frames are either fabricated brass frame or Roadster / Phaeton depending on the builder. the cowl / fuel tank as pointed out are stock Model A. Keith the Chassis is not correct for Australian AA trucks. the wheels and diff look correct for Austalian AA's. the cowl and tank are correct. the engine hand brake and steering are not. i have quite a bit of information if you are looking. if you need assistance on australian AA's please contact me...

i have a ford comercial price list dated 15/4/31 and it states that the rustless steel lamps and radiator shells were avaliable for $4/2/6 and that Chromium plated radiator Shells were avaliable as another option for $1/1/-
these are for Ford Austalia which used part supply from Canada
