Re: New Tires and Rims for Dump Truck
This reply is late so not sure you will read it. Nice truck! You mentioned the spacing between the rear wheels, I notice you have 650x20 on rear and 600x20 on front. I thick 650's are wider than the 600 tires and am wondering if you tried the 600's in the rear for the spacing. Or is 650 the correct ...

My 31 157 WB has a hitch that is quite heavy duty mounted inside the frame rails. I'll try to get a picture off tomorrow.

Re: Stumped again!
Russ, What kind of frame is your pictures of?? I must have missed your earlier post so I'm sort of confused. The frame members look wide like a AA but the cross members don't look like a 31. + my cross member has slots where the rod go thru from the front (inside) of the cross member.,,,,Just wonder...

I like the truck, and the price. Does it have metal or wood sign boards on the front side stakes.?
I also would like to see the cab insides.

Re: Windshield removal
Miner, Are you saying that the windshield should slide sideways off the hindge? I wanted to get the frame and all off the truck, but, did try to slide the thing off towards the side with no luck. At any rate I have removed the frame and all and now am wondering how this thing comes apart, I only see...

Windshield removal
Early 1931 AA truck with fabric top. Is the windshield mounted to the wooden header with 2 through bolts and a few screws? I'm working towards removing it but have ran into a problem loosing the two bolts, going to have to resort to something more that a screwdriver and wrench. get into that later. ...

Re: 28/29 brake help
The early 29's (may) were much like the Model A except for the length of the rear brake rods. They had a AA-2521 rear rocker arm assy. They had 14" brakes in the rear with seperate parking brake and the drum was AA-1114BR type. The fronts were the same as the car. I think you will have to look ...

Re: how much air 650 x20 firestone
This is my personal opinion about snap rings. If you make sure the the ring and rim is clean and free of rust, lubricate the tire with a solution, soapy water or my preference is wd40, sprinkle the inside of the tire with cornstarch or baby powder to keep the tube and flap from getting stiction (for...

Re: how much air 650 x20 firestone
Good question. Are you saying that you have 30 lbs after sitting and they have flat spots, or did you put 30 in after sitting? If the tires are nylon they will get flat spots sitting overnight in some conditions. I looked everywhere to get information on air pressure for 600x20 tires and never found...
