In the set of head bolt studs, I have 3 three different lengths. The 3-3/4 inch, middle length bolt seems to go where an ignition clamp is? Somewhere I read number 8 stud? Since I’ve had it apart awhile, could someone tell me where this stud goes?
29AA is what it is. Thanks

Float Level Setting on a Tillotson
Been looking but haven’t found, what the level of the float should be on a ‘29 with a Tillotson? Almost done but need this one measurement after a carb rebuild

What colors? Engine Parts
Can someone direct me to a link that would tell or show what color different engine parts should be painted? Working on a ‘29 AA Truck. Attaching a photo of a photo. Was a North Dakota truck in its day. Restoring it, and up to painting the engine parts. Used the original engine as the frame and engi...

AA piston ring question
I’m rebuilding an engine for a ‘29 AA Ford and running into something maybe someone else has?? Bored to .100 over and am finish honing to fit the pistons. Don’t have rings yet so going to order them. What I am finding out is the ring grooves aren’t as deep as the original pistons. These are .166” an...

'29 AA Front wheel grease seal
This may have been bought up before, but my question is, is there a seal/slinger/retainer used to hold the grease in on the front inside bearing? Reassembling mine today, I seem to not have that part (been apart too long) Ordered them for an A axle but too small. And does someone sell what I need? T...

Brake linkage shaft, rear on a '29
These parts are from a '29 AA that I am restoring. Does someone have the answer as to how snug this shaft should fit into the hole it goes into? As you can see there is quite a bit of wear and plan to get the shaft built up and hole bushed or sleeved. Or is there supposed to be a bushing in there or...

Drag link question?
Just a simple question.... Is the drag link on a '29 AA Truck supposed to be straight? Mine that I am restoring has a couple slight bends in it. Looks useable, but just wanted to know if I should get it back to straight or leave the bends in it. Thanks

Re: Rear axle seals for my 29 AA
Hopefully this works to send along these pictures of a tool I made to install the rear axle seals in a '29 AA rear axle. I am working on restoring this truck and needed to get the seals in. Hunting around the shop, I found these bearing parts and a little grinding and cutting and they worked fine fo...
