Re: possible scam.

You should go to your bank and put a stop payment on the check.

Re: Dump Hoists

You can go to Ebay and search Garwood dump box and find some old brochures that show the hoists.

Call Bert's Model A Ford Center in Denver. They should have them.

Re: Which tires to get?

You can go with 6.50-20 tires on the duals if you have the late 1930 - 1931 raised center hub wheels. They won't rub.

For sale: 1930 Ford AA dump truck with Galion hydraulic dump

1930 Ford AA dump truck. Dual wheels. This is an amatuer restoration of a rust free western truck, where the truck was taken completely apart rebuilt and put back together. I purchased it as such with a stake bed on it. I put it back to it's original configuration as a dump truck. I found another ch...

Re: Dump Bed

Does the crank come off the driver's side? It looks like an Anthony from what I can see of it.

Re: tire pressure?

I really appreciate the advice. Split rims scare me as they should. If I had one go flat I would not attempt to fill it. I would take it to a tire shop. When I got the new tires they were mounted by a truck tire shop. Once in awhile one goes low and I have added air, but the tire was still inflated ...

Re: tire pressure?

The tires are almost new (200 miles) Denman 700-20s.

They all have about 30 PSI in them now. Wheels and rings were sandblasted and painted and them installed by a truck tire shop.

I don't haul any loads. I'm assuming if they are aired upto 30 psi I can safely add air?

If you put your engine number into the database linked above it shows you have a model a engine made on 12/27/27.

They swapped a lot of engines around. I had a 31 pickup that had a 29 engine in it. The 29 engine number is what they had on the title.
