Re: Radiators - pressurized, flat tube, rows???

This may be of interest, but one good thing to know is that boiling over a Model A engine seems to cause little harm if any. I have had some radiator issues over the years and boiled over more times than I can count. I had a Saturn that had its water pump lock up. Faster than I could find a place to...

Re: Rear Shocks

Wow! I never knew an AA had rear shocks. Do they do any good?

Trucks at work

Just wondering what pictures you might have of your trucks at work. Here's mine getting some gravel for the farm. The milk truck was making ruts.

Re: Floor boards

You know, it is nice to have a "perfect" truck but I think it is even more fun when you make some of the parts yourself. For me, I look at a part on the truck that I made back in the 70's or 80's and it puts a smile on my face.

Ok, these don't cost more than the wheels. Make an offer.

Re: AA Radiator

The best thing that I did to keep my radiator from boiling over was rebuilding the carburetor, for what it is worth.

Re: Hubcaps for 1929 AA

Sorry that I missed the inquiry.

Ok, the second picture is a bit blurry, but the first one is sharp. I could move them around and take more pictures but they would just look like the first picture. Not fancy but not thin. Rusty but solid. Make an offer.

Re: Inside the Venturi

For fuel in my AA, I use premium without ethenol. Sure it costs more but this is not my daily driver, so it costs peanuts over the course of time. I do the same for my lawn mower and snow blower. It is worth it for trouble free operation.

Re: Worm Drive Woes (picture heavy)

As for me, I think the worm drive is more classic and I prefer it. I do have the one stamped with "B" that is 5.17 reduction. I can do about 40 MPH on a level road.

Hang in there. You will find what you need.

Re: 1928 Model AA with 5th Wheel

To my understanding, Ford had nothing to do with these trucks having a fifth wheel installed. That was after market like the Fruehauf ad above. As a side note, Fruehauf was making horse drawn wagons and jumped into the trailer business with the advent of motor trucks. I have seen bump stop type brak...

Re: wtb weaver auto crane -- 4 bolt or possibly 6 bolt pto

I have two 6-bolt PTO's if you need one. They fit the four speed. They do not fit the two speed. Only a 4-bolt can be used on the 2-speed.

Not sure what the right price would be. Anyone know?

Re: It's finally spring!

Have two people that need dirt hauled. Mark, now THAT is a beautiful paint job. Very, very nice! (Not sure how eager I would be to dump sand, gravel and dirt on my truck if I had a better paint job but I can dream.) Also, my cell phone photography hides the fact that my truck is full of saw dust fro...
