How did you make out on the axle threads? One other thought would be to try and tighten enough to get the carter pin in and tack weld in a couple spots to keep it in place.

I am looking for a worm rear end for my 29 AA. Mostly need it for the brake drums (must has all wheel studs) and axle halves to repair/rebuild my rear If you have something close to north eastern CT for sale please reach out.

Your strobe light look great. One other thought, could add a normally open (NO) relay to the circuit. Wire the relay to activate (close circuit) when the key is switched on.

Hayslip, guess your in my neck of the woods. There is a 1930 131" frame and rear in Warwick on Craigslist. He just wants it out of there and is giving it away. I don't have a trailer so I am passing on it.

Definitely a 1930 chassis. Easy way to tell is the tapering of the main rails at the back and the 4th cross member is flat instead of humped. The humped version was to accommodate the worm drive rear used in 28-29.
