Re: Budd wheel offset?s
So from that service bulletin I think I'm safe to assume that the wheel offset should be approximately 3.75"

Re: Budd wheel offset?s
Or does anyone have the 1931 January service bulletin? I think my answer is in that publication.

Re: Budd wheel offset?s
Thanks guys,
The axle I have right now is 74" WMS to WMS.
Before I dismantled my original front end I put it at 63.5-64" WMS to WMS. I think i might have to take out a few inches from the new axle.

Re: Budd wheel offset?s
I'm trying to go to a modern front end. I have an F450 solid front axle that is looking like it might be a decent candidate. The lug bolt pattern is different but I'm gonna get moDern wheels From rickson wheel manufacturing. They are 19.5 inch by 6 inch wheels with 5.35 inches of offset, but you can...

Budd wheel offset?s
Ive been trying to figure out what the offset (modern day definition of distance between mounting surface and centerline of rim) of the later 1931 AA dual wheels was. Searching over the forum I've found 3 inches, 4 inches, and 7.5 inches. None off those measurements are making any sense to me. Am I ...

Re: Windshield cleaning/de-rusting
I don't think its the voltage as much as the amperage for how quickly this set up works. Some guys have baskets formed up from metal mesh, or use an old frying basket and just drop all the small parts into the basket. Hook up the basket and your ready to go. give it a few shakes after a few hours or...

1931 High speed rear end for sale or trade
I've got a rear end, six bud wheels, and front brakes all for sale, taking up a good bit of space in my garage in new orleans LA. I'm also looking for front doors from a 29-E31 murray town sedan I would be willing to trade this stuff for, or for tools/welders etc. Call Scott at (504) 650-seventy eig...

Re: Zerks
So after beating and beating with the cold chisle and sledge this one zerk would not budge. I said "oh well let me try it on another." Welp I must just have one seriously stubborn zerk, cause it definitly worked on 4-5 zerks after that first one (quite easily I might add). Maybe I'll just ...

rear spring just needs a coat of black
Finally finished getting one of my rear srpings back together, and I have to say it feels good. The second isn't too far from done either, just gotta order spring pivot bushings and some shackle bolts to finish them up. Will the spring shackle bolt you can buy from synders fit both the top and botto...

Photo thread?
I don't think this has been done(if it has please point me in that direction). Can we start a thread with photos of our member's trucks? Minimal chatter/banter, photo of your truck with short caption/description. I was trying to view members individually but that just wasn't working.

Zerks
How do you get these things out? I feel like I've tried just about everything but drilling them out. I want to go to modern Zerks for easier maintenance.
