Re: Why join FMAATC?

I joined a while back and purchased every back issue of the newsletter, money well spent IMO. There is no fee to join or use the forums though and I think both the newsletter and forums compliment each other very well. Even though my truck restoration project has been on hold for the last 8 years, I...

Re: New Spam-Bot Counter Measures

It would appear the questions asked (that nearly any AA owner would know) have prevented the automated signups. Thank goodness for that, it was getting really out of hand!

Re: My AA Has Arrived and...LOL

As a long time "A" owner and a first time excited "AA" owner, My AA Has Arrived! :D It is everything as promised and then some. Now the funny part, it won't fit (height) by 1 1/2 inch  into my temporary garage, so I spent an hour removing and reinstalling a panel on the garage door to fit her...

New Spam-Bot Counter Measures

today I just enabled some "challenge questions" for new user signups. these questions should be easy for AA owners to answer, but difficult for bots or spammers to circumvent. The volume of automated signups has reached nearly 10 to 20 a day. This latest change will hopefully address this problem. t...

Re: Any NORTHEAST AA for sale?

]I was wondering how come the images some posted were so damn big and threw the screen sizing out of whack. I also get a warning that 100k is the limit? 100k was the limit, it's now 512k. Avatars are still at the same limit as before, for pretty much the same reason. Mostly because if some one had ...

Re: Any NORTHEAST AA for sale?

The inline image size was 100Kb which is still pretty large for online use, I did increase it to 512Kb which is again pretty generous for a forum format. Even today not everyone is on a super fast broadband connection and ideally there is no real reason to attach an image directly from your camera w...

Re: 1928 Model AA

Hey folks, Yes this forum is generally very civil but as more members sign in and start getting involved the chance for differences of opinion and style 'clashes" increase. We are all adults here so I think issues can be resolved in a civil and productive manner. I have no desire to add "moderators"...

Front engine mount photo by forum member

Howdy folks, just received this email from forum member Regpegs1931. Hi Mike, Maybe I'm really bad at computers, but I tried to download a photo and put it on a new topic post for readers on a motor mount I just took off of my late 31 AA, to see if it was available anywhere, but couldn't manage the ...

What do you mean Steve? Your "author" name is your account name you signed up with. If you wanted it to be something else then I'll need to change it on my end.

For something to sell or wanted?

Just post it like a normal topic.

Include things like:

What:
Where:
How much:

If it is an ebay auction, list the ebay item number.
